We’re 2 females (way) over 40 that feel great and simply want to show others the easiest way to do this.

Life isn’t about perfection, but balance.

We love red wine, pizza and chocolate as treats (who doesn’t right!?) although equally love healthy, nutritious food that allow us to feel amazing and have the energy that lots of people long for.

We’ve always been into health. Aislinn struggled with crippling OCD and anxiety as a youngster and experienced the difference diet and exercise can make to mental health & Shelley was desperate to lose weight after gaining 5 stone while pregnant in the 90’s.

We’ve always worked in health & wellbeing and started BootyFit in 2007 as we wanted to create a way for females over 40 to lose weight through lifestyle rather than a diet.

We wanted to offer more than a weekly weigh-in that lots of traditional diets offer, but wanted everyone to feel supported & made to feel welcome, all made possible with an online weight loss club where we include the four pillars for sustainable weight loss – food, exercise, mindset & accountability.

To date we’ve helped 1000’s of females achieve their goals as our skills compliment one another. Aislinn aka ‘Slap Dash Ash’ is at the forefront of BootyFit, and Shelley aka ‘Spread Sheet Shelley’ is in the background ensuring everything runs smoothly (basically picking up after Aislinn!)

The reason we’ve taken BootyFit from strength to strength is because we’re real people, who understand the ups and downs of life. We really get to know our members and create fantastic online communities but most importantly we bring the fun factor into health & wellbeing.

After a hysterectomy in 2017 Aislinn was forced into an early menopause. Desperate not to gain weight, she trained to become a menopause coach where she learnt the best foods to eat and the best exercise for not only weight loss but to feel amazing during this time of life. As your body and hormones change, so should your approach.
