Not very technical I know, but at BootyFit we were recently discussing the IMPORTANCE of squiggly lines with some of our members.
Apparently one of the keys to happiness is based around progression and most of us are looking to progress in one way or another.
Whether it’s getting fit, carving out the life of our dreams, losing weight, Promotion etc…..
When we look at other people we assume they move from one point to another in a straight line.
No setbacks.
Take transformations you may watch on you tube, or this page, people seem to go from strength to strength, nothing gets in their way.
I think we’re just not seeing the whole picture, as it’s impossible to continually go from strength to strength, there has to be little dips along the way!
You don’t get the promotion, you spend a week eating junk as you’re feeling stressed….we’ve all been there.
It’s natural as humans are complicated beings, made up of emotions and external stresses.
When we’re aware of the impossibility of continually going from strength to strength it should makes us feel better, we’re only human after all.
And what the difference is between people that don’t get to the end point and those that do is RECOGNISING when you’re in a dip and finding a strategy to get back on the straight line.
Wanted to share this with YOU, so you understand you’re probably doing way better than you think. You’re human. And you will get to where you want to go in the end (if you have a strategy in place for those dips.)
